And I totally understand the threat to many women feel this material. But clever women are isolated from the manipulation that many people in this story are so inept. Only the naïve are at risk because I’ve always been.
Many people refer to this book as a manual on how to seduce women. But never Neil Strauss, author, made such a declaration. It was only his honest and amusing account of his experience in the PUA (pickup artist) community. But Strauss is a talented writer. And, as such, not only managed to do this very fun and deep at all the manual says it is, but also gave an extremely valuable tool for men of good heart with benign objectives – a tool that can be used with mutual benefit, without anyone getting hurt or played. Despite the claims of other reviewers in another way, Strauss did not disclose the nature and illustrative examples of the emotional and spiritual PUA pick in handling people with narcissistic purposes.

As I started reading the book, I felt uncomfortable . Knowing this knowledge was out there, I felt akin to suddenly discover a group of troubled kids understand how to build nuclear weapons.

As I read, I found myself subconsciously adjusting my behavior, according to game theory. . . and surprising results. Women who used to intimidate me with his “presence” suddenly acting goofy / nervous around me. This might be true? After I passed the initial excitement of my new knowledge, I started to get disappointed by the fact that women made me goofy / nervous for so long could be so easily manipulated. Knowledge is power. And that’s just the way you use energy can reveal the nature of its owner. The only real danger “players” there are those whose cognitive reasoning and emotional maturity is not fully developed at the same time, the skills themselves as worthy of an Oscar. Yes, there are some out there. But an intelligent woman knows that when you are playing. And how many times did you see Strauss, manipulate and seduce a woman in itself is a victory that always leaves a void not being used. First, a declaration, because of the sniping going on this book: I do not know any of the people portrayed in “The Game.” I have no prejudices in both directions for each. In fact, I’m right (and married) women, so I really have no interest in ANY collection strategies.
I read “The Game” after seeing a review of it in the newspaper. I was amused and a little “intrigued by the idea of a subculture centered seduce any member of the opposite sex – the idea of guys who honestly had no other goals in life.
a sense, is almost a story inspired by the principle. Everybody loves a loser, and the little guy, bald suddenly able to get all the girls are no exception. But it is a great story if he had not a dark side to success. Strauss describes how you lose interest in everything except collecting women and, in fact, feels compelled to hit on them almost constantly. He holds seminars on seduction. He placed through messages on seduction. Lives in a house full of children whose only interest is seduction – some who spend thousands of dollars to participate in seminars throughout the country.
Of course, he realizes that all tricks and a few phrases that he uses a woman to bed, do not help when faced with The One And maybe a little naive, but is not that what most of us really want to end?
Strauss is a good writer, though not very remarkable. I think the story itself, rather that writing is what carries the book. The characters are truly compelling – especially mystery, I almost want to know to see if it is irresistible as everyone seems to think. (One wonders, however, if their techniques work half as well as women already know).
So that in case of children who can not meet women make this book? do not think so. I-make-believe that some of these tips could work as “negging” – a beautiful girl giving a subtle form of contempt that I want earn more. I know that my days alone, I was fascinated by the boys who were not under my spell, so to speak. However, it makes people throwing a nice thing to do.
< br /> My problem with this book is that it can be very attractive to young singles and attract a subculture rather complicated – which I think is not the intention of the author. I also believe that the techniques described encourage objectification of women one end, and not particularly healthy for children either.

Fascinating book about the subculture of PUA. Love like black and red leather binding favorite. Recommended reading for a man who wants to broaden their horizons.
I have read similar books and I will share some observations aspiring PUA: The good guys are all PUA or a natural or charismatic, or having higher education and / or have established careers with a substantial income. While I am not suggesting that you have to be rich or beautiful to be a successful PUA should always be a paycheck somehow. And higher education is a plus. Funny how all these books seem to forget this essential fact.
Invest in yourself. Material things come to those who are.
